Big Sister, I always wanted one.
I was tired of being the one that everyone looked up to.
I wanted to look up to someone.

I had tried many times before,
But I could not find anyone that would last.
Tragedies, misunderstandings, and the like, sent most of them out the door.

Frustrated and seeing only darkness ahead.
Along you came and brightened my day.
Who would have expected that email to lead where it lead.

We became close friends and and much better, sisters.
We have something special.
We're sisters.
